About this category

ZXWSoft 4.0 puts board drawings and schematics side by side at the repair bench. Use it to trace a net from pad to pad, inspect component locations and board layers, and cross-check a schematic against the physical PCB before probing or replacing parts.

🔧 Board tracing and repair work

  • View both PCB sides in dual-window tabs or as a double-sided board in one window. Clicking a pad highlights connected pads, making it easier to follow a net through the layout.
  • Inspect board outlines, pads, component designators, component photos, BOM details, resistance values and repair notes. ZXWSoft also provides schematic display linked with the point map.
  • Use multilayer trace display, net highlighting, copper-layer views and component-location queries to follow connections across the board. Other tools include GND and empty-pin display, net and BOM searches, custom notes, repair-solution lookup and cross-highlighting components connected to multiple nets.

📱 Model coverage

The supported-model library includes Apple and iPad, Samsung, Huawei, Honor, vivo and iQOO, OPPO, Xiaomi/Mi, Google Pixel, Realme, OnePlus, ASUS, Lenovo, nubia and RedMagic devices. Coverage includes phone and tablet boards, with model-specific main-board and sub-board drawings. ZXW’s update log also includes an SM8350 platform-level reconstruction series.

💻 Running ZXWSoft

ZXWSoft 4.0 is Windows software; the current download does not support Windows XP. The vendor recommends Windows 7 or later, including Windows 10 and 11. Sign in with a ZXW account to use the software. An authorization code renewal is applied through the account and adds one year after successful activation. ZXWSoft 4.0.0.3 is listed on the official download page.
